NIDHI RAINA started cooking and baking as a hobby in her twenties while flying with British Airways, and later working as a corporate trainer in healthcare in California. She picked up tips and skills at Alpine Cafe in Whistler and The Pony Espresso in Pemberton. Nidhi focuses on baked samosas and other vegan, gluten free baked options at the Whistler Farmers’ Market, and brings British baking and North American classics to the Pemberton Market. She loves to cook all things warm and curried, the recipes originating from her roots in Kashmir and North India with its wealth of spices, and delicious vegetarian and meat-based dishes from the mighty Himalayas.
