STELLA LEVENTOYANNIS HARVEY was born in Cairo, Egypt and moved to Calgary as a child. She now lives in Whistler, BC, where she founded The Whistler Writing Society, which produces the Whistler Writers Festival each year. Stella retired from her role as festival Artistic and Executive Director in 2022. Her novels include Nicolai’s Daughters (Psichogios Publications of Athens published the Greek translation), The Brink of Freedom, Finding Callidora, and Disruption. Stella won the Whistler Artist of the Year Award (2015), the Whistler Citizen of the Year Award (2022), and was also awarded the Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation.
