Rowntree, Lenore

ROWNTREE, LENORE grew up in Toronto and now lives beside the heron rookery in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. Her writing has appeared in many journals and anthologies including The Best Canadian Poetry Anthology. Her play The Woods at Tender Creek was produced in Vancouver at the Cultch in 2010, and she is a co-editor and contributor to the anthology of life stories Hidden Lives: coming out on mental illness (Brindle & Glass, 2012); a second edition to be released as Hidden Lives: true stories from people who live with mental illness (Brindle & Glass, 2017). A collection of short stories Dovetail Joint was published in 2015 (Quadra Books) and Cluck, a novel was released in fall 2016 (Thistledown Press).
