CAETANO, CODY

CODY CAETANO is a literary agent with CookMcDermid. He works with writers of original literary fiction and non-fiction. Cody’s debut memoir, Half-Bads in White Regalia received the 2023 Indigenous Voices Award for Best Published Prose and made the longlists for Canada Reads 2023 and the 2023 Leacock Medal for Humour. His writing has appeared in Esse, Grain, The Walrus, and elsewhere. Cody is an off-reserve member of Pinaymootang First Nation. His mother’s family is from the Manitoba Interlake and his father’s family emigrated to Canada from the Azores in the 1960s.
