DANIEL KALLA was born, raised, and still resides in Vancouver. He is an ER Physician in a major teaching hospital as well as the bestselling author of thirteen novels, which have been translated into eleven languages to date, five of which have been optioned for film and/or TV. His latest novel The Darkness in the Light, is a Scandinavian-noir style thriller set in the Arctic. Daniel received his MD from UBC, where he is now a clinical associate professor. He is the proud father of two girls and a poorly behaved, but very lovable mutt, Milo.
