BRANDON BARRETT is a performer, theatre producer, improv instructor and playwright. The co-founder of sold-out sketch show Comedy Quickies, part of the Whistler Writers Festival, he has written or co-written three feature-length plays. He is also an award-winning journalist and features editor for Whistler’s Pique Newsmagazine and was the 2018 recipient of the John Collison Memorial Award for Investigative Journalism and won gold at both the 2021 and 2022 B.C. and Yukon Community NewsMedia Association Awards for best feature article over 10,000 circulation, and environmental initiative, respectively.
