ANNA COMFORT O’KEEFFE has over twenty years’ experience in the publishing industry. She holds a diploma in Publishing Techniques and Technologies, and studied publishing at Simon Fraser University’s Summer Fiction Intensive and Master of Publishing programs. Anna is publisher at Douglas & McIntyre, directing the development of its national publishing program, and has a particular interest in pitches for authoritative nonfiction with national Canadian appeal, books about British Columbia, and works by Indigenous authors and voices underrepresented in Canadian publishing. Even though she works on books all day, and sometimes all night, she still wishes she had more time to read.
