LISA RICHARDSON is a freelance journalist, essayist and columnist, and has been sharing stories about Sea to Sky people and culture since trading lawyer’s robes and Vegemite sandwiches for ski boots and hot chocolate in her 20s. Endlessly compelled by what brings people together, she’s done PR for the Whistler Writers Fest, Crankworx, the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, and Enduro World Series, and founded community events from Slow Food Cycle Sunday to Icon Gone to the Society of Secret Poetry Appreciators’ salons and Open Mic Night. The facilitator of journaling, self-care and creativity workshops has been voted Pemberton’s Favourite Writer since 2009.
