REBECCA WOOD BARRETT is an award-winning filmmaker and writer living in Whistler, B.C. In 2019 her short film The Soundtrack, co-directed with Janalee Budge, was a finalist in the WSSF 72 Hour Filmmaker Showdown. Her short fiction has been published in Room, The Antigonish Review and Pique Newsmagazine. Her children’s chapter book, My Best Friend is Extinct, will be forthcoming in 2020 with Orca Book Publishers.
