Lee, JJ

LEE, JJ is the author of the critically-acclaimed memoir, The Measure of a Man: The Story of a Father, a Son, and a Suit. It was finalist for the Governor-General’s Literary Award, the Hilary Weston Writer’s Trust Prize, and the Charles Taylor Prize. He is the winner of a National Magazine Award for Best Short Feature. Between 1999 and 2008, he worked for CBC Radio as a host, reporter, and story producer. His documentaries have aired on CBC’s The Current, Ideas, and Sounds Like Canada. JJ mentors the nonfiction workshop at the Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University. He lives in New Westminster.
