JULIA MCDOWELL is Editor at Collins, HarperCollins Canada. She acquires, commissions, and edits practical non-fiction titles and select fiction. Recent successes include The Circus Train by Amita Parikh, a Globe and Mail bestseller and In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead. Julia has a BSc from Victoria College at the University of Toronto and she has also been a guest lecturer at the Columbia Publishing Course in New York, where she got her publishing certificate. She lives in Toronto.
