WHISTLER MULTICULTURAL NETWORK is a grassroots community group of immigrants supported by the Whistler Welcome Centre. Through their monthly Multicultural Community Kitchen program, local immigrant volunteer chefs share recipes, and lead participants in cooking a meal from their culture before everyone shares a meal and stories together. The Community Kitchen team also prepares food for the annual Whistler Multicultural Festival to bring more community members together through food. In 2017, the group released their first Whistler’s Multicultural Cookbook. The group is currently gathering recipes for their next cookbook due to be published in late 2019/2020.
