BATES, MARGO teaches work-shops for writers on research strategies for writing fiction and non-fiction, humour writing, storytelling, and publicity for authors. She does public speaking, publicity, and photography. The author of P.S. Don’t Tell Your Mother, she’s currently writing The Funeral Follower. She’s the past-president of Canadian Authors–Metro Vancouver, and she served nationally as the vice-chair. She belongs to Rainwriters writing group, the Federation of BC Writers, and RCLAS – Royal City Literary Arts Society.
