Tanya Trafford is an editor with over twenty years of experience in book publishing, both in-house and as a freelancer, with traditional multinational and independent publishers as well as those operating under a hybrid model. Before moving back to Vancouver Island, she was Senior Editor at Random House Canada, where she edited award-winning fiction and non-fiction and oversaw the RHC cookbook program. Always on the lookout for quirky narratives and unique voices, Tanya currently acquires and edits middle grade and young adult fiction for Orca Book Publishers. Authors she has worked with recently include Gail Anderson-Dargatz, Melanie Florence, Alice Kuipers and Arthur Slade.
